The Yew Tree

what remains unseen
when you break the whole to bits
are the holes between

structure is the warp
and change the weft: but who knows
where the weaver sits?

a rigid structure
presses down on squidgy flesh:
life between the cracks

life bursts out from all
the restrictions we impose:
threads unravelling

messy, untidy
full of holes, nests, and burrows:
lingam and yoni

yin, yang and tao
assertive and inductive:
unknowable tao.

"eppur si muove":
it's all moving and changing
the dance of Shiva

creation, destruction
there in the burning grounds
new life arises.
